Distribution and habitat preferences

They are usually found on the leaves and bark of trees where its camouflage colours are useful and where they are near to their prey species.

Diet

They are associates of the Green Tree Ant, Oecophylla smaragdina. Experiments with captive spiders confirmed that they prey on the ant larvae by removing them from the mandibles of minor workers.
