Coelophora inaequalis (Variable Ladybird Beetle)
Variable Ladybird Beetle (Coelophora inaequalis) near Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. Photographed on 7 May 2010. The pattern on this species appears to be quite variable. Two distinct patterns - a spotted one and a striped one were evident at the same time on beetles only a couple of centimeters apart.
