Baldchin Groper (Choerodon rubescens)

It is endemic to WA and is sought after by fishers, both recreational and commercial. A combination of measures have been implemented that have reduced overfishing including reduced catch limit, seasonal closures of spawning grounds, declaration of a marine park and monitoring of stocks.
