Distinguishing features

The body is covered in short hair, light red-brown on the back, and a light grey on the front.

Distribution and habitat preferences

It is recorded in wet-dry tropics of the western Top End of the Northern Territory, Australia. It has also been found in north-eastern Western Australia.

This species has been recorded in woodlands, patchy monsoon forests, mangroves, and floodplains. (Wikipedia)
