Spend most of their time buried in sand or mud, with just open nostrils visible.

  • mild discomfort - The Numbfish can deliver powerful electric shocks with an electric organ located in each pectoral fin. This organ is used to shock crabs, worms and fishes, which make up the Numbfish's diet. Reports exist of fishermen who have received severe electric shocks from handling this fish.
