Distinguishing features

The female is usually larger than the male. Female eyes are also relatively well separated, male eyes almost touch.

The thorax has four narrow black stripes, wings with sharp upward bend in the fourth longitudinal wing vein. The abdomen is gray or yellowish with dark midline and irregular dark markings on the sides. The underside of the male is yellowish. (PADIL)
