Comments

Amphiprion perideraion is known to associate with four anemone species: Heteractis crispa, Heteractis magnifica, Macrodactyla doreensis and Stichodactyla gigantea (Fautin and Allen, 1992). At Lizard Island, it has only been seen with Heteractis magnifica.

Interesting facts

  • This is the little guy of the Anemonefish. Other Anemonefish will simply take its home if there is no better one nearby or if it is a really large Anemone they will let the Pink Anemonefish stay but they will treat it so badly that it will be too stressed to become a female and have children.
